ug! I dont feel so good

So my morning sickness hit an all time high over this past week.  It has been occurring at any time of the day but up until now its been fairly easy to rid myself of the nausea.  Like I said up until NOW!  I have been sick as a dog, not actually throwing up, thank goodness, but in a constant state of nausea.  It has been a trial for me to even do the smallest things and I had to force myself to go buy groceries Sunday.  Oh what fun :(  a packed grocery store and me who just the sight of the food makes my stomach turn.  Needless to say I avoided the seafood department like the plague!  So if anyone has any remedies for morning sickness they want to share please feel free.

  1. Sorry you are feeling this way! Mine hit me at about 4 weeks and lasted 4 months. Everyone is different. There are remedies out there but nothing helped me. Sleeping was all I could do to make the nausea go away. Don't let yourself get hungry and eat whatever you feel like eating. Even if it is poptarts for the next 3 months! I was eating pb&j sandwiches for all my meals, unsalted pretzels, and ice cold water with tons of lemons. You will figure out what works for you. Just go with your gut!

  2. Oh, Tiffany! That is awful! PLEASE find a good acupuncturist (there are probably reviews online) and get in ASAP! I know Steve says it's "voodoo"...I don't care. It works! My morning sickness was gone with one treatment for Dylan and with two for Tess. It might take you a few more treatments, as I had been going consistently and was already pretty "in tune". The needles are the size of a hair's width. They do NOT hurt...it's actually quite relaxing to just lay there with music and rest! PLEASE try it...there is no need to keep suffering, my friend. :) Most insurance covers it...call yours to see exactly what their policy is (how many treatments per year, covered providers, etc.) and let me know if you have questions. I know it's "different" but be open. In the meantime, if there is a natural foods store like Whole Foods or PCC, there are little heart shaped ginger cookies that I found soothing. SO sorry! This too, shall pass. Hugs!

  3. Thanks guys, I have been trying everything but I have not yet thought to do the acupuncture but will definitely try it. I've gone before for my back and it worked wonders.
